I’m Brian Balthazar, (with the blond hair) and the dapper gentleman with me in the photo is Dennis St. Germain.
Dennis and I have been fans of all things “home” ever since we can remember. Aside from renovating, decorating and flipping homes as a team over the last two decades, we have also devoted our professional careers in the space. I have been a behind-the-scenes executive producer, network executive and creator of many HGTV shows you know, and a few you’ve seen on Food Network. I’ve also been seen on-screen as a host of HGTV House Party, Food Network Live In The Kitchen, and as a lifestyle expert on the Today Show, The Good Dish, and the Food Network App. You can also see me on some shows talking Entertainment and even as a co-host of the competition series Human Vs Hamster. But let’s get back to our HOME passion.
Dennis has been a Real Estate broker in Manhattan for more twenty years, where he has specialized in luxury residential properties - the guy has seen and sold the homes of some celebrities he’s not supposed to name, but I can tell you they include a star from your favorite crime show, a record producer who’s behind one of the most popular songs of our generation, and countless more! He’s sought after for his incredible talent for staging spaces to look their best - and always full of tips and tricks to make every space look high end, without the high price tag!
POP Goes The Home is a fresh and heartfelt endeavor for us — a true labor of love that is starting out small, but our goal is to build a collection you’ll love that reflects our passions and inspires you. And trust us, we have many passions! From hosting gatherings with friends to designing beautiful spaces,enjoying great conversations, and sharing our lives with animals—we believe in living fully and with a sense of style and humor. We hope the pieces you’ve selected bring you a bit of sophistication, whimsy, and joy. For now that includes plates and towels we’ve designed, napkins that will liven up your next party, and artwork we’ve painted that we hope you’ll love!
Finally, we want to say thank you. POP Goes The Home was born out of our desire to follow our hearts, take risks, and express ourselves in new ways.
