In 2016, I spent a week in Chianti, staying in an incredible villa that was straight out of the novels and films I had previously only dreamed about. Staying with cherished friends, we ate delicious food, drank wonderful wines and connected with each other in ways I'll never forget. From every window of that beautiful villa there were stunning views - gently rolling hills of green and gold. This painting reminds me of that beautiful trip and the wonderful memories that still linger in my mind.
